United Nations: Joey DiPaolo Profile -- In 2001, Joey presented to the United Nations on AIDS and AIDS awareness programs in the United States. The United Nations has a special project devoted to AIDS research and fundraising to help limit this global issue.

Joey DiPaolo: Growing Up Positive -- This article is another feature, taken from PBS affiliate WNYE, about who Joey DiPaolo is and the struggles he had to endure in 1990 when he was one of the first children (after Ryan White) to go public with the fact that he had AIDS. His story was the subject of the 1992 HBO movie, Blood Brothers, which won a Cable ACE award.

Joey DiPaolo: Growing Up With AIDS (Taken from January 12, 1998 edition of Science World Magazine) -- This article, originally published in 1998, discusses Joey's struggle with AIDS as a child, the adversity he had to face at that time with limited research and medicines, and how he has triumphantly endured this otherwise life-crippling disease. His foundation works to make sure that AIDS awareness programs exist and that additional research is lobbied within our government and universities.
